Mustangs takes home the hardware!

The team entered the Thornton Park Holiday Tournament this past weekend, going 3 and 1, taking home the B bracket championship on Sunday against the St. Ed's Varsity Green squad 4 to 3.  Dan Mutti had a 3 goal "hat trick" along with a goal from Brett Kapple.  This hard fought win against this Eagles team rested on the shoulders of net minder Nick Dasher.  Nick turned back 28 shots, and with a late 3rd period game saving glove save.

The team also challenged themselves in the upper division playing and additional 3 tough games against some of the areas' finest.  Dasher was between the pipes for all 7 games, 5 over the weekend, facing an average of 30 shots, Mutti had a total of 8 goals, Kapple (3), Gavin Pate (3), Nolan Marcum (2), single tallies by, Will Grozan, Archie Wahl, Ethan Warner.
